Ask for a waiver

Keep using a version with a known advisory, for a limited time, with a reason on record.

Sometimes you cannot upgrade right away. A waiver lets a blocked version through for a set number of days. Someone who decides on waivers has to agree.

1. Open Waivers in the menu.
2. Pick what to waive: an advisory, a license hold, or the cooling off period.
3. Type the package, the versions and how many days you need.
4. Explain why it is safe for now, and add a ticket number if you have one.
5. Click Ask for it.
