Blocked packages and requests

Ask for a package or image

Send a request to the approvers, and follow what happens to it.

1. Open Requests in the menu.
2. Pick the type: npm, PyPI or images.
3. Type the name as you would install or pull it.
4. Type the versions you need. For npm use a range like ^4.21.0. For images use a tag like 7.4-alpine. Leave it empty to ask for every version.
5. Say why you need it. A good reason gets a faster answer.
6. Click Send it.

Your request is scanned for malware and checked for advisories straight away. That takes up to 10 minutes for a package and up to 30 minutes for a new image, so try again later. If your admin has switched on auto approve, a request that comes back clean is approved by itself.

Your requests are listed below the form, with what the check found. An install that was blocked may already have made a request for you, with the token that tried it.
